5 Comments:

  1. AOK with his purple tie, pinstriped shirt & boisterous voice reminds me of a ringmaster of the circus that is The Chase. I rush home every night to catch it.

  2. With The Chase being split into two separate programs, and Nine News having some magical difference at 6:30 (oh, wait, that’s the supermarkets/cheaper petrol/mobile plans filler part) even though it is only one program, perhaps TEN should split MasterChef into three. Challenge #1, Challenge #2, Announcements. Perhaps this one program split into two or three purely to screw the figures concept should be banned by OzTam. Oh wait again, never will happen. “OzTAM is an independent company owned by Australia’s major commercial television broadcasters”.
Why is it now necessary to start Hot Seat at 5:17?

  3. Given the gap between The Chase and Hot Seat seems to widening it reminded me of this quote from Andrew Backwell in the Nine programmers wrap you did with him David at the start of the year.

“Obviously it’s a very strong format and what I believe will happen is that by mid year Hot Seat will be winning the slot again. I think the gap between the two will close.”

Wowee he was way off the mark with that one.
