Nine is counting on the “sticky-beak” factor for its next property title, Unreal Estate.
The series, presented by KIIS-FM’s Kate Langbroek and comedian Cam Knight, “will offer an all-access pass into some of Australia’s most breathtaking, luxurious and unique properties, and meets the intriguing people who live in them.”
They travel the country looking at beach houses, country estates, designer mansions, luxury retreats, urban city indulgences, celebrity holiday homes and party houses.
“It’s the ultimate open-for-inspection, really, without having to worry about doing a runner when the real estate agent realises you can’t pay for the property,” said Kate Langbroek.
“I was like a little kid let loose in a candy store. It was so much fun to visit these incredible homes and take up residency, even if only for a day or two,” said Cam Knight.
Kate and Cam explore everything from Queensland’s most expensive home, with his and hers helipads, to a rotating house where the view changes with every turn; a rainforest retreat complete with a private disco; an extravagant French Chateau in the Victorian countryside; a seven-level beach house inspired by a whale; Sydney’s most extravagant reno – and stunning weekend retreats where the rich and famous go to get away.
Update: Now tipped for Tuesday 27th September.

I will be watching The Durrells…so unless there is an encore/repeat…I will not see it…I do not do Nine’s catchup..
Far out. Against offspring and durrells. Why must everything clash????
Foxtel have shows like this on all day long so what’s the big deal! They are not hosted by ‘comedians’ either.
I think this is the only show on Nine for the rest of the year that I would consider watching! I thought Dave Hughes was presenting with Kate…maybe it has changed.
This will bomb on the main channel. Should be airing on GEM like Australia’s Best Houses airs on 7two.
Up against Offspring and Gruen?! Not a smart move with both already having a loyal following I wanted to watch, but can’t now!
