Seven took all 3 demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
Seven won every night of the week. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Monday and Saturday.
Top show of the week was Seven News (Sun: 1.63m). Outside of the Rio Olympics (Day 1: In Rio Today : 1,33m) the other stand-outs for the week were Nine News (Sun: 1.28m), 60 Minutes (1.01m), Gruen (870,000) and The Bachelor (Wed: 858,000).
Trying to compare the numbers with London 2012 is treacherous, due to big changes in TV fragmentation, a triple-channel playout and timezone differences.
But for the record Nine’s first week drew a 42.2% share with 37.8% on its primary channel.
While last week falls within official survey, it is tradition to remove 2 Olympic weeks from annual results.
