The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon has been announced as host of the 74th Golden Globe Awards in January.
He previously hosted the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards.
NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt announced the news at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills.
“We’ve found the best possible host to make the evening really memorable and that’s Jimmy Fallon,” he said. “I know he will bring his unique energy and wit to the show. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is thrilled and we’re thrilled as well that he wanted to do it this year.”
And I'm really looking forward to spending time with the Hollywood Foreign Press before Donald Trump has them all deported.

By far my least favourite US late night host-unfunny, silly games and social media obsessed-give it to Colbert or Samantha Bee who have actual wit about them.
I have tried to watch his shows…but he really does not appeal to me …
its about time he Hosted the Golden Globes. i think he’ll do a fantastic job.
David I’d like to see James Corden host the Oscars.
