New Maggie Beer series for Foxtel

Maggie Beer has teamed with Margot Phillipson, her executive producer from ABC’s The Cook And The Chef, for a new Foxtel series.

Beer, who appears on The Great Australian Bakeoff, told News Corp, “(Margot’s) retired from the ABC and we have a good rapport and understanding of each other. It’s exciting but it’s not a big series, just something I have the chance to do and I’m excited to do it.”

Sounds like a South Australian cuisine series.

It is expected to film later this year.

This week she joins Marta Dusseldorp and Margaret Pomeranz speaking at the ASTRA Women In Television breakfast in Sydney.
