In case you missed the news, tonight’s edition of Australian Story will be the final TV appearance for the legendary Brian Henderson.

The former Bandstand host and National Nine News presenter is introducing the episode on Patricia Amphlett aka ‘Little Pattie.’

85 year old Henderson has come out of retirement to mark this occasion, but the ABC show is being billed as his “final TV appearance.”

Brian Henderson was inducted into the Logie Hall of Fame in 2013 in recognition of his most respected work on Nine.

“…and that’s the way it is.”
