TEN has confirmed its two part drama Brock will screen at 8:30pm Sunday October 9 and conclude on Monday, 10 October at 9.00pm.
As expected it will premiere on the same weekend TEN broadcasts the Bathurst 1000, which marks the 10th anniversary of the death of the sporting champion.
Over two big nights, Brock will follow the life of the legendary Australian icon. From his early racing days to his tragic death in Perth, this special television dramatisation traces the soaring highs and brutal lows of one of the country’s most remarkable sportsmen.
Starring Matt Le Nevez as Peter Brock, Brock comprises an all-star cast that includes Brendan Cowell as Peter’s adversary Allan Moffat, Ella Scott Lynch as Bev Brock, Natalie Bassingthwaighte as Julie Bamford, Steve Bisley as Harry Firth, Axle Whitehead as Colin Bond and Martin Sacks as Peter’s father Geoff Brock.

Well another 3 way head to head for Aussie drama – Secret Daughter vs Hyde and Seek vs Brock part 2 *sigh* 🙁
Probably the only new australian show i am looking forward to this spring/summer. I personally like sport and music biopics.
Just had a look at the cast list and there is no Dick Johnson mentioned, who Brocky had a long rivalry with. If it is about his ‘early racing days to his tragic death in Perth’, then that’s a big omission.
Would have preferred it as part of the build up to Bathurst not just after it when the hype is dying down personally.
Agree. Can’t speak for anyone else but I’ll be at a Bathurst BBQ. We won’t be watching TV in the evening.
May as well give it a try.
Peter Brock didn’t die in Perth. It was Gidgegannup 40Km east.
Maybe TEN is taking dramatic license?
somehow Perth rolls off the tongue better than Gidgegannup
Gidgegannup is a suburb of Perth so I don’t really see the fuss
Is not a suburb-it’s a land of hobby farms beyond the urban fringe in the Darling Range-Perth is mostly a north/south metro area city along the coast (55 year resident of it!).
It looks like an absolute ripper!
