Alex or Nikki, Nikki or Alex?

It's down to 2 as Olena is sent home without a rose.

TEN’s reality series The Bachelor draws to a close tonight as Richie Strahan chooses between the final two single ladies, Alex and Nikki.

Last night Olena left the show without a rose after three dates in Bali. Distance between their home cities of Sydney and Perth proved to be a final sticking point, with Olena worried a long distance relationship could prove to be a “hassle.”

The episode featured exotic backdrops of Balinese rice fields and mountains, together with adventurous beachside dates with the rope access technician.

Distance was only a minor concern for Melburnian Alex, more concerned about Richie embracing a relationship that includes her five-year-old son Elijah. WA real estate agent Nikki conceded she has fallen for the show’s leading man, and according to TV Tonight readers, remains the front runner.

“It was a great pleasure meeting you,” said Olena. “And having to go through this whole crazy ride, I was glad that you were there by my side. I really hope that one of those two girls is someone you are going to be loving for the rest of your life.”

All will be revealed tonight from 7:30m on TEN.

  1. When a stunningly attractive girl tells you that you are a great guy, but a long distance relationship that involves a lot of travel is too much hassle……they are telling you that they are not interested. That is how our household viewed Olena’s way of backing away from this competition. Sorry Richie but we thought you were punching above your weight on that one….
