Winners in the 2016 Queensland Clarion Awards for Excellence in Journalism were announced on Saturday night.
Sarah Elks of The Australian was named the 2016 Queensland Journalist of Year.
ABC dominated the TV categories while Kay McGrath of Seven News was awarded with an Outstanding Contribution to Journalism.
