After six years Seven’s gal pal series Winners and Losers airs its last ever episode on Monday.
The final episode will come full circle, referencing the lottery win by high school friends Jenny Gross (Melissa Bergland), Frances James (Virginia Gay), Sophie Wong (Melanie Vallejo) and Bec Gilbert (former cast member Zoe Tuckwell-Smith).
Faces from previous seasons will also reappear for the final instalment.
Heavy on melodrama and romance, the series created by Bevan Lee has enjoyed strong ratings across most of its 5 seasons, embedded into Seven’s Tuesday drama slot. Despite being nominated for Most Popular Drama at the Logies, it has never managed a win, although Melissa Berglund won a Most Popular New Talent gong.
Also amongst memorable cast members were Katherine Hicks, Francis Greenslade, Denise Scott, Jack Pearson, Anne Phelan, Blair McDonough, Damien Bodie, Sybilla Budd, Sarah Grace, Paul Moore, Nick Russell, Nathin Butler, Tom Wren, Tom Hobbs and Michala Banas.
A double final episode will screen at 8:50pm Monday on Seven.
Here are some of those we’ll remember…

If it were not for Virginia Gay, I would have been a massive fan. Talking about ‘over-acting’. Glad it’s done. Bring on something new, exiting, without V.G. please.
I can’t wait for the next Virginia Gay starring vehicle. She is a total all rounder and very talented.
What about Bec,is she coming back for the final episode? You’d think she would, given that she was one of the main characters of the show when it started out.
Is the Jonathan character coming back? The show lost it for me when he was written out.
