  1. The truly absurd ‘Green Berets’ film was on 92 in primetime Saturday night-a bizarre choice, virtually anything else would have been better than the worst Vietnam war film ever made…

  2. Channel 9 may have done well in the demo’s this year but are certainly not doing very well with the overall viewers, if they start to panic now and try to start rectifying the damage I can only see them getting into a worse situation.

  3. Agatha Raisin tanks for the ABC, even allowing for AFL finals and NRL finals on the other channels – can’t say I’m surprised, that series is a real turkey, it makes Father Brown look good in comparison(and that’s saying something)

    • Well, in your opinion….me…I like both of the series you mentioned
      I personally, am surprised so many people watch football games..but then many cannot understand my joy watching F1….horses for courses…. 🙂

  4. Wow! TEN had no shows in the Top 20 last night! Not even the news or rugby test match. Surely this must be a first for a major channel. The Devil Wears Prada must be due for a Saturday night soon.

  5. I’m not sure which NRL Final was the 7.30 game but that was shown on Nine in Melb, yet doesn’t come up here as having done so.
    Also, did the Wallabies game really not make the top 20? Terrible if so. Maybe it should go back to One outside Syd/Bris like it used to be?

    • NRL qualifying final 2 (Melbourne v North Queensland) was the 7.30pm game. It got only 74,000 viewers on Nine in Melbourne! I think some fans might have watched Fox Sports’ live telecast instead.
      The Wallabies test got an average crowd of just over 30,000 in Brisbane and poor ratings on TV.
      Big audience for Premier League on SBS.
