Airdate: Crowded House Live at Sydney Opera House


ABC will simulcast Crowded House Live at Sydney Opera House as part of Ausmusic Month celebrations.

The forecourt concert, coinciding with their induction into the ARIA Hall of Famewill also be live-streamed on the ABCTV Facebook page.

Michelle Guthrie, Managing Director said: “Ausmusic Month began at triple j more than 20 years ago and the ABC is pleased it has been able to support Australian music and highlight the creative work of so many musicians, producers and the wider industry.

“In November we continue the association between ABC Radio networks and Australian music with a celebration of Ausmusic Month across all ABC platforms.

“Ausmusic Month is about all Australian music – not just bands and songwriters, but orchestras, composers, ensembles and choirs, producers, technicians, managers, students…from the seasoned professionals to the absolute beginners, we aim to celebrate Australia’s rich musical landscape in full.”

Sunday November 6 at 8.30pm on ABC2 & iview
Drama and reality combine in a fictitious 24 hours in the life of musician and international cultural icon, Nick Cave.

ABC’s iview will present an Ausmusic Month collection across November – a curated slate of programming featuring live concerts and performances, archival material and great Australian music content.


  1. Wow ABC simulcasting this, going out on their Facebook page in glorious VHS comparable quality. What a joke. Should be going out in HD on television. What a slap in the face for the band.
