Married at First Sight star agrees to AVO

Nine’s cameras have turned on former Married at First Sight and Farmer Wants a Wife participant Lachlan McAleer, who agreed to an Apprehended Violence Order in Penrith Court yesterday.

“Farmer Lachie” faced one charge of common assault against his girlfriend Casey Williams, allegedly taking place earlier this month at his farm in Cawdor, NSW.

McAleer, real name Lachlan Rove, appeared in the first season of Married at First Sight when he was partnered with Clare Tamas.

After the TV romance ended he later announced he had been cast in The Farmer Wants a Wife, via A Current Affair. But last night ACA‘s cameras were there at Penrith Court to ask him to respond to the latest allegations.

He agreed to the AVO order and returns to court next month to face charges.
