Renewed: The Walking Dead

Well this is a no-brainer, pardon the pun.

AMC has ordered an eighth season of The Walking Dead, a week before season seven begins.

The 16-episode Season 8 will premiere in late 2017.

The total viewership average for S6 was a whopping 13.15m US viewers while the buzz is high on just who will survive the S7 premiere at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his baseball bat ‘Lucille’.

Australian viewers will get an answer to that cliffhanger when it returns at 1:30pm AEDT next Monday October 24th on FX.
