Champion golfers Adam Scott and Jordan Speith lead the field vying for the prestigious Stonehaven Cup at The Australian Golf Club in Sydney from Thursday November 17.

The Australian Open will be hosted by Peter Donegan, with commentary from Ian Baker-Finch, Wayne Grady, Grant Dodd and Pat Welsh.

Former winners including Geoff Ogilvy, John Senden, 2015 winner Matt Jones and crowd favourite Craig Parry headline 13 past champions set to light up the fairways.

The Australian Open will be the first chance for players to secure a place in golf’s most international championships, the British Open. The leading three players, who finish in the top 10 and ties who are not already exempt, will qualify for the 2017 British Open.

Seven’s golf coverage will be streamed on the PLUS7 app, with coverage of the Australian Open, World Cup of Golf and Australian PGA on mobile, giving Australians access anywhere, anytime on any device.

In addition to the all-day coverage on PLUS7, 7Sport will be following the action throughout the day @7Golf and @7Sport on Twitter.
