Axed: Vicious confirms final episode
One-off special with Sir Ian McKellen & Sir Derek Jacobi will be the last for UK comedy series.

ITV has confirmed a one-off special for UK comedy Vicious, filmed earlier this year, will be its last.
The comedy centres around sees newly married gay couple Freddie Thornhill (Ian McKellen) and Stuart Bixby (Derek Jacobi) and their best friend Violet (Frances de la Tour).
The special, which has already aired in the US, will screen in the UK in December.
It follows Freddie and Stuart’s adventures from Spring and Summer, through to Autumn and Winter. Highlights include Freddie’s birthday, Violet deciding on a major ‘lifestyle’ change and Ash’s big news.
Guest stars are Frances Barber and Dame Eileen Atkins.
Vicious has aired in Australia on 7TWO but a final airdate has not been announced.

The 2nd season was far superior to the first, i’ve seen the finale, it’s a let-down.
A mercy killing. Sloppy script, waste of a good cast. I am surprised ITV renewed it for a second series.
