  1. TVW7 has always, traditionally dominated Perth viewing habits.. I would say, other factors include – they own the local daily newspaper and have a strong share of voice across social media (7 Perth + The West) pushing their shows and personalities. They now own The Sunday Times and Perth Now website so that will only grow. 7 also have a strong relationship with Mix945 – Perth’s long-time top rating radio station. 7West are a giant in this market and are starting to squeeze out other media players.

    Well done to ch10. They cut through with the project and stealing the American 60 minutes interview from ch9. Small steps, but enough to pull ratings from all demos

  3. Are half of the TVs in Perth pernimatily tuned to 7. While X-Factor is faultering in other cities by a large margin, it was the highest raiting entertainment show in Perth.

    • I’m in Perth, and just for fun I added up my shows for this week. Channel 10 came in first with 8 shows I watch, C7 was next with 4 (would be 6 but Chicago Fire and Blindspot are out this week), then ABC and SBS tied with 3 each and C9 with only 2.

      Personally, I don’t watch XFactor (or any singing/talent shows).
