New sketch series for David Walliams

David Walliams has a new sketch show, Walliams & Friend in production for the BBC.

Filmed on location and in front of a live studio audience, Walliams will be joined each week by a famous face playing a number of characters and creating a one-off, brand new double act.

The friends are:

Harry Enfield (Harry & Paul)
Jack Whitehall (Bad Education)
Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me)
Miranda Richardson (Mapp And Lucia)
Sheridan Smith (Cilla)
There will also be a Christmas special with actor Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey).

The series also features a support cast including Morgana Robinson, Mike Wozniak and Jason Lewis.
