In a week when news dominated global events, Seven News and Nine News were the only shows to reach a million viewers last week.
The Block and First Dates were the only non-news entries in the week’s Top 10.

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 1.14m), First Dates (854,000), The Secret Daughter (771,000) and Better Homes and Gardens (767,000).
Nine: Nine News (Sun: 1.01m), The Block (Tues: 896,000), The Big Bang Theory (811,000) and Second Test (S3: 785,000).
ABC: ABC News (Sat: 898,000), Australian Story (787,000), Grand Designs (718,000) and 7:30 (697,000).
TEN: Have You Been Paying Attention? (687,000), The Living Room (558,000), The Project (7pm: 556,000) and All Star Family Feud (545,000).
SBS: Clinton v Trump 2016: The Choice (387,000), Insight (308,000), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (251,000) and Who Do You Think You Are? (240,000).
Seven won every night of the week except Saturday, snatched by Nine.
It’s been a long time since Seven won in Sydney -it scored in every city except Melbourne which was held by Nine.
Next week is the last year of the ratings year.
