Airdate: Michael Bublé at the BBC

TEN will screen a new UK special with the Canadian crooner this Sunday.

TEN will screen a UK special Michael Bublé at the BBC this Sunday, featuring the Canadian crooner performing tracks including Cry Me A River and Feeling Good, and songs from his new album, Nobody But Me.

This was filmed at MediaCity in October with Strictly Come Dancing‘s Claudia Winkleman hosting.

In November Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato confirmed their son Noah was battling liver cancer, with Bublé vowing not to perform again until he was healed.

Before the performance Michael said: “I loved Adele at the BBC and I’m so excited and honoured to have been invited by the BBC to do my own show for them.”

Nobody But Me is the multi-Grammy, multi-platinum award winning singer’s ninth studio album. Recorded in Los Angeles and Vancouver, Nobody But Me features three new Bublé-penned originals along with classic covers.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever had this much fun working on an album,” said Bublé. “It was especially thrilling to collaborate with my band who understand that I want to sound better than I’ve ever sounded. I’m also very proud of the new songs. Having the opportunity to co-produce was a joy for me personally.”

Michael Bublé recently showcased his talents on the big screen with a onetime cinema event screening of Michael Bublé Tour Stop I48. The film included dynamic performances and behind-the-scenes footage from Michael’s To Be Loved Tour, which covered 173 shows in 39 countries and was seen by over two million fans.

9.00pm, Sunday 18 December on TEN.
