SKY News 2017: highlights

Paul Murray Live will extend to two hours each night as part of SKY News 2017.

Paul Murray Live will extend to two hours on SKY News from 9pm Monday – Thursdays in 2017.

The announcement is part of SKY News 2017 line-up from January 16th.

Evening programming over the week also includes PM Agenda, The Latest, The Bolt Report and Credlin Keneally.

Caroline Marcus also joins SKY News as anchor and Political Reporter.

Australian News Channel CEO, Angelos Frangopoulos said: “Caroline is a talented and tenacious journalist who takes on an important political reporting role next year. Her job will be to cover politics from anywhere but Parliament House in Canberra.”

On weekends, SKY News anchor Kristina Keneally joins Peter van Onselen for Sunday Edition from 7:00am – 10:00am. Already a dynamic duo seen weekly on To The Point, the pair team up again to bring weekend viewers a lighter take on the day’s news and politics. Kristina will also join Peter for Sunday Agenda, Sundays at 8:30am.

  1. No sportsnight . Wonder if that’s why James bracey left for nine. I wonder if there will be an increased synergy with fox sports news now .. i actually find sky sports updates on interactive to be more up to date than fox sports

  2. Considering the change of management one might have expected a few creative changes to refresh the production but it looks like everyone’s happy keeping the the old Sky News shock jock club together.
