  1. Seven – “exclusive resources of our global broadcast affiliates CNN”.
SBS – “Includes reports from CNN”.
As with the election coverage, Seven was promoting “exclusive CNN” however SBS was also airing same CNN coverage and reports.

  2. For those of you lamenting a lack of musical talent…. look out for the Aryran Stormtroopers String Quartet playing some Beethoven….should be classy

  3. Who are those performers?? 3 Doors Down are the only ones I have heard of and they are hardly still popular or relevant. Were Nickelback unavailable?

  4. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir? They sang Deck the Halls on the Goodyear Christmas record my parents bought me as a seven year old in 1966. Do you mean they’re still around? Seems to sum up the direction and attitudes of the new (old) government, really.

  5. Absolutely no reason now why ABC would have to simulcast the same news or event already airing on ABC News 24 now that News 24 is an SD channel everyone can receive.

As for Ten – they’ve probably made the commercial decision no to bother putting money into airing seeing its on Nine, Seven, News 24 and numerous other pay TV news channels as well. Probably same with SBS.

Doesn’t have to be on every network!

    1. Ten probably has shopping channel stuff that they are paid to air so no point in foregoing that. They could simply take the CBS coverage, which they own, if they really wanted to.
ABC or ABC1 is not carrying it. That’s what ABC24 is for.

      1. The ABC are simulcasting Trump’s Inauguration on both News24 and the main channel so rage will be interrupted. It surprises me Channel 10 aren’t doing anything special. They have CBS, Studio 10 and the Project which could cover the big event.
