Returning: NCIS

The wait is nearly over for die-hard NCIS fans, returning to TEN in early February.

Season 14 of the long-running NCIS finally begins on TEN in early February.

This season there are three new cast members:

Wilmer Valderrama (That ‘70s Show, Grey’s Anatomy) plays Special Agent Nicholas Torres, a once-grounded NCIS field agent with previous experience on a deep undercover assignment. This charismatic agent has a dedication to job and country that means he is known as an unpredictable, loose cannon.

Jennifer Esposito (Blue Bloods, Spin City) is Special Agent Alexandra Quinn. Hand-picked by Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) because of her sharp wit and quick mind, she quickly proves she is an immensely talented federal agent.

Duane Henry also joins the team as M16 Officer Clayton Reeves, a successful and clever British agent who assists his NCIS counterparts as a terror liaison during complicated times.

This premiered in the US in September.

It has already been renewed for a 15th season.

8.30pm Tuesday 7 February on TEN.

  1. The big trouble with not airing it at the same time is it affects the ratings here. Many always download it so when it starts here its repeat for them so don’t bother watching.

  2. The new NCIS team are doing just fine without Dinozzo. Its a bit strange but it always is when a favourite character leaves. Give them a go, they are still worth the viewing. Shows format is the same with good stories. Most characters settle in after several episodes. They have dropped in ratings but thats expected but they are still number 1 every Tuesday night in the States and other countries. Hopefully they will still make over the magic million mark every week after the weekly rural and DVD ratings are added.

  3. Does it really matter if a show isn’t fast tracked from the US? I, for one, couldn’t care less that a show of this quality has been held back so that it predominantly airs in Australian ratings season.

      1. I didn’t mean it like that young SS! Don’t think NCIS is mediocre either, it is starting to show its age but what doesn’t after a decade plus? But I don’t see the need to fast track everything, we aren’t the US so shouldn’t stick to a US schedule personally.

  4. Curious how this will be without Dinozzo.

By the time this returns 13 episodes will have already aired in the USA. Far too late.

Hopefully madam secretary isn’t too far away. If madam secretary returns in the first week of February, 6 episodes will have aired in the USA that would’nt aired here.
