Adele had to stop her tribute to George Michael at today’s Grammy Awards and start again after struggling to find the pitch of “FastLove.”
“I know it’s live TV f*** … I’m sorry for swearing, and I’m sorry for starting again,” she told the audience.
“Can we please start it again? I’m sorry, I can’t mess this up for him,” she said.
But it was the right thing to do. Singing a tribute off key would have never been forgotten.
The 28 year old British singer then recommenced her symphonic tribute on key, delivering an emotional performance which ended with a standing ovation.
