  1. Pretty much everything we would want with the omission of Live English Premier League games on an actual television set, thats gotta be hurting Foxtel but I’m not seeing hoardes of die hard EPL fans changing over to Optus either. So the final result is a less eyeballs and exposure for the EPL, astronomical costs for Optus, and maybe some minor loss of revenue to Foxtel. Meanwhile all the VPN and illegal streaming services send them all xmas cards for sending all their customers to them!

  2. @ David Knox – did you see the “all new” Fox League channel is actually just replacing the existing Fox Sports 2? Yet again Foxtel opting not to expand their offerings, and instead just condensing their choices.

  3. Terrible value for money. Cheaper to get Foxtel just for the channels on a discounted bargaining deal and phone and internet from another provider. Also, don’t forget you can easily get that ridiculous HD fee waived.

      1. The best advice I can give is call up Foxtel during business hours and get connected to one of their Australian call centres. The easiest and quickest way is to say cancellation when prompted for a reason for your call and then the computer will probably ask if you’re moving, just say no and you should be connected to either Robina or Moonee Ponds.

When they answer tell them you’re not happy you have to pay full price when others are getting massive discounts on their service and you want a better deal. Everything with Foxtel is negotiable if you go about it the right way. I know people who get the Platinum HD Foxtel package for $89 a month and I know others who have the sports channels with HD for only an extra $10 a month on top of the Entertainment Package.

        Good luck!
