Foxtel On Demand: Scandal

There's no broadcast, but Foxtel viewers can still get up to speed with new Scandal episodes.

Foxtel this week confirmed Season 6 of Scandal was being made available via On Demand (also known as Anytime).

Seasons 1-5 are now available at On Demand and Foxtel Play.

Despite not having a broadcast, Season 6 is also accessible, with episodes 1-4 currently available. New episodes will be added shortly after their US broadcast. It premiered in the US last month.

This week 7flix confirmed S6 would begin airing Monday nights from next week.

Deanne Weir, Foxtel’s Managing Director – Content Aggregation and Wholesale, said, “With all of the ups-and-downs of today’s political climate, it’s great to be able to unwind with a bit of edge of your seat drama we can enjoy, stress-free. Scandal was one of the most watched TV series that streamed on Presto and it has been a breakout hit for fans everywhere. We’re thrilled to bring the entire series to Foxtel subscribers with each new episode premiering, on Foxtel on demand, in-line with the US broadcast.”

Scandal is part of the Pop or Drama packs.

Scandal stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, a former media consultant to the President, who has dedicated her life to protecting and defending the public images of the nation’s elite by keeping their secrets under wraps. Pope leads a team who specialise in cleaning up the lives of other people, but who cannot seem to do the same for themselves.

Joining Pope in her political manoeuvres are associates Quinn (Katie Lowes), who has a complicated secret history, and former CIA hacker extraordinaire Huck (Guillermo Diaz). Scandal also features Elizabeth North (Australia’s Portia De Rossi) as the chairperson of the Republican National Committee, President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) and First Lady Melody “Mellie” Grant (Bellamy Young).
