Survivor (US) fans will be treated to a new series in two weeks time.
Survivor: Game Changers: Mamanuca Islands will premiere 7.30pm Thursday, March 9 on 9GO! A two hour premiere will screen same day as the US.
That’s a big improvement after the last season was late and had a terrible late night slot.
The new series is filmed in Fiji and features returning players including Ozzy, Cirie, Tai. Sierra and Brad.

Viewers of this show (and TAR) are constantly forced to moving thier viewing schedule to catch the latest episodes (an usually missing them). The exact reason why many people would rather download the show for themselves rather then rely on the flaky FTA networks.
Always look forward to another season of Survivor. S 34 I believe.
Apart from maybe 1 or 2 ordinary series since 2000. Most have been first rate viewing.
We’ve seen Jess grow up on our TV screens 🙂
Great news from Go! I’m so glad Nine have let this show shine on a multichannel instead of wasting away post 11pm on its main channel.
Hopefully Seven show The Amazing Race the same respect when it finally returns (feels strange only having one season of TAR this time around!)
That’s great that it’s fast-tracked but a shame it’s not in HD. Maybe they could repeat it late at night on 9HD. Can’t wait to see Tai again!
So glad they’ve learnt from their mistake last time & gone back to showing it on Go on the same day it airs in the US.
Is there any word on when Amazing Race is coming back? It’s usually around the same time as Survivor.
Haven’t heard boo.
This year Amazing Race is set to premiere Friday April 22nd in the US.
Oh great, thanks for that. Let’s hope 7 fast track it now that it’s on 7flix.
Looks set to be a good season with players like Tony and Tai in the mix
I remain a massive fan of this show but having a third or even fourth (!) appearance from any survivor is ridiculous.
