Can any network ask for a complete change of ratings panel at any time. There would be only a small percentage of people willing to be in a ratings panel, so can we trust the present results? Out of the three FTA networks watching grass grow should be winning.

  2. I never really take much notice of the ratings so correct me if I’m wrong, but Murder Uncovered was the highest rating show in Perth? If I’m correct, I would expect that would be because last night’s episode was about Perth murders. I wonder if that trend will continue, ie will dominate in the same state that the episode is based in. Also higher in the older demographics, they would be the ones around when it actually happened so would assume they would have more of an interest in it.

  3. I am not sure about The Weekly for 2017 so far. I’m just not loving it like I used to, and it seems the ratings agree with me. I was going to wait for the second ep, but he has been funnier. Also, I think his left-leaning outlook means that side of politics is almost ‘protected’ from his jokes. I always found Tom and Kitty’s segments to be the most entertaining parts of the show.

    • Definitely a surprising start for Murder Uncovered.

I’m getting technical, but both MKR & IaC,GMOH dropped roughly the same percentage of viewers to their next show. The problem was the initially advertised (or at least perecived) 20-30 minute crossover between MKR & This Is Us. I think many people would have switched over to 10 if they knew This Is Us would begin after/as MKR ended (as House Husbands did on Monday). But that wasn’t the case, even though it was much closer than people realised.
