Bill Paxton’s role will not be re-cast on Training Day

Producers of Training Day say they will not recast Bill Paxton following his unexpected death on Saturday at age 61.
Will Beall, the creator of the CBS crime series, and executive producer Barry Schindel, told TMZ Paxton was perfect and irreplaceable as crooked cop Frank Roarke.
This week’s 5th episode in the US will feature a dedication to the actor at the top of the show.
No decision has yet been made about the show’s future.
Training Day is currently screening in Australia on Seven at 11:30pm Sunday.

I guess it all depends on if the show is left on a Cliffhanger, or if there’s more story to tell.
this should have been a one off series anyway from the get go, just an extended version of the movie as a 13 Ep series.
Was never going to get a 2nd series due to its poor ratings in the US.
