Renewed: Feud

The second season of Feud, by Ryan Murphy, will tackle the marriage of Prince Charles & Diana.

The second season of Feud, by Ryan Murphy, will tackle the marriage of Prince Charles & Diana, to screen in 2018.

The renewal comes ahead of the debut of the first season profiling Joan Crawford and Bette Davis during the filming of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

The news comes mere months after Netflix successfully dramatised The Crown.

In teasing future seasons of Feud earlier this month, Murphy told the Hollywood Reporter, “I don’t want to do another woman to woman feud, and I certainly would never do another Hollywood feud because I don’t think you can top Bette [Davis] and Joan [Crawford].

“I’m interested in this show being a two hander that’s really about the human dilemma of pain and misunderstanding. And I think you need a long period of time, maybe 20 to 40 years, to have a big back story.”

Murphy is also busy with more seasons of both American Crime Story and American Horror Story.

Feud debuts in Australia on Sunday March 12 on Showcase.

  1. I think the royals turn into car crash television……. the feud between the Royals and the duke and mrs simpson would have been better, and actually went far longer!
