Viewers will choose the next Bondi Vet star

Producers have received more than 800 nominations in a week for 'the next Dr. Chris Brown.'

Viewers will get to choose the next Bondi Vet after an open casting call by WTFN Entertainment.

Producers have received more than 800 nominations in less than a week (bonus, candidates don’t even have to live or work in Bondi…)

WTFN Director of Content, Steve Oemcke, said “The response has been overwhelming and after seeing the nominations to date, we are extremely confident that our search will unveil the next Bondi Vet.

“We knew the pet community was passionate, but never in our wildest dreams did we expect to receive so many nominations from vets who are ready-made for television.

“Obviously the chance for someone to star in their own TV series has really struck a chord with the public and the vet community.”

WTFN will eventually settle on a top 10 and the public will have a chance to vote for the person who will receive a program development deal, with the chance to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Chris Brown.

Bondi Vet fans have loved the show to date, but most of the social traffic to our site is really excited about what the future holds.

“During eight seasons on Bondi Vet, Chris has certainly set the standard for TV vets, so the new Bondi Vet has very big shoes to fill,” Oemcke said.

  1. I had often said that Chris Brown was miscast in that show. I saw the segment he did for The Living Room at Muscle Beach, California and he was a natural for a fitness and muscle show. He certainly looks the part. Perhaps someone can start a new show with Chris giving health and muscle building tips.
