On Thursday Foxtel Arts premieres Soundstage: John Mayer, a two-part special, filmed in 2004.

Soundstage features live performances by a diverse roster of legendary and up-and-coming artists, filmed before intimate studio audiences or at times on the road.

In this two part Soundstage special, John Mayer opens up about the motivation behind his song writing. He performs hits such as Bigger Than My Body, Something’s Missing, Your Body Is A Wonderland and is joined on stage by guitarist, Buddy Guy.
