Airdate: Vet on the Hill

Nine premieres WTFN produced series with an Aussie vet working in London.

As previously tipped, Nine has picked up Vet on the Hill starring Aussie vet Dr. Scott Miller at his three UK clinics in the Richmond Hill district.

Originally produced by WTFN’s new London-based production company for UK channel More4, it premieres tonight in Melbourne and Perth.

Set against London’s Richmond Hill district, the bustle of Dr Scott’s three clinics delivers gripping and heart-warming tales of caring for his patients.

Dr Scott’s dedication to go “above and beyond” in caring for all creatures great and small shines through in each episode, featuring life-saving surgery, home visits, some famous faces and an array of devoted pet owners.

Follow along with Malala, the courageous blind rescue pup; George, the depressed donkey in need of a new home; and a tiny Chihuahua in need of groundbreaking surgery for a nano hip replacement.

A philanthropist and passionate animal advocate, Scott Miller grew up and studied in Brisbane, beginning his career at the RSPCA in Sydney. He soon set his sights abroad and moved to the UK more than 10 years ago.

Scott has many career highlights, including co-presenting the BBC children’s program, Who Let the Dogs Out and About. He also appeared as the resident vet on BBC’s This Morning for six years.

7.30pm tonight on Nine in Melbourne and Perth.
