Bee Gees special lights up US ratings

Updated: Star-studded tribute to the Bee Gees marking 40 years of Saturday Night Fever, will air on Nine.

Hands up which Australian network has Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees special please?

The special aired in the US over the weekend, topping the ratings with a bumper 10.3 million viewers.

Surviving member Barry Gibb performed as did Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas and an appearance by John Travolta, marking the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever.

“I just have this involuntary urge to do this!” declared Travolta striking his famed pose.

The special took place in February.

Updated: Nine advises it will air this 9pm Monday May 1st.
