Hell’s Kitchen was “life changing”

Logie winning actress admits she just couldn't turn down the chance to meet Marco Pierre White.

Please Like Me‘s Debra Lawrance will next be seen amongst the unlikely contenders of
Hell’s Kitchen Australia on Seven.

So what possessed an actress who just picked up the Logie as Most Outstanding Supporting Actress to sign up for a cooking show? The money?

As she told TV Tonight, there’s more to it than that…

“Yes they offer you a cheque but there was also the opportunity for your charity at the end and the opportunity to spend time with Marco Pierre-White who I have been a huge fan of for years,” she explained.

“If I hadn’t done anything since Home and Away and somebody have offered it to me it might be a little bit tragic. But because I feel very secure in my work as an actor, why not do Reality TV? It was Marco Pierre White, I couldn’t turn it down!

“It was quite life-changing. I’d recommend it to anybody. If they do Series 2 I’d recommend it to anybody.”

Hell’s Kitchen Australia is due on Seven later this year.
