  1. Dave Hughes was hilarious
Kat Stewart and Peter Helliar were gold making jokes about FusciaGate
Jessica Mauboy and Casey Donovan blew the “international” acts off the stage
The “In Memoriam” was perfect (especially showing full screen shots of those who’ve passed, rather than cutting away to a long shot like previous years)
And Kerri-Anne – about time, brilliant choice, class act all the way
But can the Logies please pair Miranda Tapsell to present with somebody who isn’t a knob?

    1. Yes, so happy to see Debra Lawrence win the Best Supporting Actress Logie.
      Long overdue and thoroughly deserved.
Her portrayal in PLM of Josh’s troubled, eccentic mum with a beautiful soul has been truly exceptional.

  2. Excited for HYBPA and APTCH well done. Great for Elias Anton I loved Barracuda. Thank god Debra Lawrence finally one a logie for her great performances on Please like me. In Memoriam sung beautifully by Casey. Only disappointments Survivor not winning and Samuel Johnson winning

    1. It shouldn’t have been under drama when it was a mini series. It was already in that category. Don’t know why it was under drama too.

  3. This is why Logie voting is ridiculous. Samuel Johnson undeservedly wins gold and silver logies only because of his sister’s cancer charity, making a mockery of the industry.

  4. Good to see so many indigenous men and woman nominated this year, we’re really getting to see more diversity on screen. And a very powerful In Memorium performance by Casey Donovan, she should be very proud of herself tonight.

  5. Great that 2016 Summer Olympics won Best Sports coverage. Channel 7 did an excellent job with the scheduling of the Games with utilisation of 72 and 7mate.

  6. The memourium was beautifully sung and done. But I thought it was shorter than usual. I know they don’t include everyone or did we not lose as many over the past year?

  7. Are you serious Dave was hilarious and his Tim Worner joke was very funny and of course it was going to come up. It’s true about taking on the wrong girl. We all knew he was going to push the boundaries.

But so happy for HYBPA on ther 2 logie wins. Nice to see different shows get up.

Great to see Lorrae Desmond make an appearance. also well done KAK
