Any news on the ratings for Sydney and Brisbane, David?
See today’s ratings wrap under News.
Thank you! It was watched by about 60 000 more people than the concert attendance figures in Brisbane and Sydney. Not bad! :-).
OK, so in the end, it was a heavily edited version that left out many songs, but since the show itself lasted around 2 hours and 20mins, and the broadcast including ads was only 2 hours, that was to be expected. Even heavily edited, it was brilliant and great to see Madonna back in prime time again!
Any ideas on a Melbourne airing, haven’t had the time to watch on YouTube
Not yet, but I expect it will pop up at some point.
We here in Perth dodged a bullet there!
I think you’ve got your colloquialisms mixed up there, Chuck! 😛
I’m so disappointed that the other states are missing this. I have been waiting this concert to be rescheduled for nearly a month and now it’s not even airing where I live… 🙁
Glad to see this back on the schedule after being bumped twice! It’s been a very long time since a Madonna concert was aired on FTA in Australia (“Drowned World Tour” way back in 2001). The show itself is a must see!
Hi DK, I noticed that you got a bit confused with Adelaide viewers putting the Pub Bands: Legends of Perth.
Fixed.
