HBO’s dinner with Hervé Villechaize
Peter Dinklage and Jamie Dornan team up to dramatise a wild night in the life of Fantasy Island actor.
Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage and Jamie Dornan (The Fall, Fifty Shades of Grey) are teaming up for an HBO telemovie built around actor Hervé Villechaize (Fantasy Island).
My Dinner With Hervé sees an unlikely friendship evolves over one wild night in LA between a struggling journalist, Danny Tate (Dornan), and actor Hervé Villechaize, resulting in life-changing consequences for both.
Villechaize, described as “the world’s most famous gun-toting dwarf,” was once described by actor Roger Moore as having an “unnatural lust for women.” He was also fired from Fantasy Island for continually propositioned women and quarrelling with the producers.
A date for the project, based on a story by Sacha Gervasi and Sean Macaulay, is yet to be announced.
