Nine leads primary channels but Seven takes another week

Nine led in primary channels last week, but Seven again won the week in network share.

Nine’s decision to replay three episodes of The Voice on Saturday night may well have cost it the week, when its primary channel fell to third place behind the ABC.

Seven scored Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine easily won Sydney and Brisbane.

  1. I am surprised 7two rates well when it is mostly repeats. Seems after one new episode of Escape to the Coubtry Friday week they have turned into 7flix and are showing movies. I don’t understand?!

  2. Good analysis David.

Even Seven decided not to air encores of shows such as Seven Year Switch on Saturday in Sydney & Brisbane (opting for the regular movies still).

Nine still had a good week despite the overall surprise loss, they’ll take the two market wins and 25-54s.
