Seven has now won 13 of the 40 ratings surveys in 2017.
But Nine will be pinning its hopes on State of Origin this week to try and claim its first win in Total People (it’s no guarantee). So far only The Last Resort has been its a major misstep, while TEN faltered with The Biggest Loser: Transformed before Easter.
Nine is also still in a close battle for the demos this year which it seeks to claim ahead of Total People.
Last week both Seven & Nine increased share at the expense of the 3 other networks.

What’s new so far in 2017…
Another week, another dominant win by Seven.
Almost 40% on Saturday night!
Seven would be further ahead if it could ditch the Saturday AFL in Sydney and Brissie.
Well if Nine put up a half decent schedule it might help… how many ‘must-see’ shows – of any genre – can anyone remember Nine screening this ratings year?
The same could be said for most of the others; put in commercial terms Seven can at least claim 13 straight ratings week wins, and Ten arguably has genuine company/financial/programming budgetary excuses.
