Airdate: My Kitchen Rules UK

The British version of MKR will screen on Lifestyle FOOD in July.

If you’re interested in comparing the British version to our own, My Kitchen Rules UK will screen on Lifestyle FOOD in early July.

This is produced by 7Wonder, an arm of Seven West Media, and appears to offer a nightly prize.

This aired in the UK in October.

Two legends of British cuisine, two-times Michelin Star restauranteur and chef, Michael Caines, and Queen of home cooks and food writer, Prue Leith present a new entertaining and competitive cooking series. They will be joining forces to judge 16 pairs of entrepreneurial amateur cooks who open their own restaurant at home for one ambitious night, in a bid to scoop the £10,000 prize and the right to say, ‘My Kitchen Rules’.

Weeknights from July 3 at 9.30pm on LifeStyle FOOD.

  1. I gave up on MKR-Aus after season 3 but the biggest attraction was the ‘state-vs-state’ element which has served it well every year. Unsure how the UK version would be as punch with so many counties, unless they literally did the eight points on the compass as regions.
