Axed: 24: Legacy

But producers are now looking at an anthology format.

The rebooted 24: Legacy with Corey Hawkins has been cancelled by FOX in the US -but producers are already looking at continuing the franchise with an anthology.

Despite launching with 17.6m viewers following Super Bowl the series wrapped with 6.3m total viewers with seven days of PVR. It also struggled in Australia on TEN.

FOX is already talking with producers, including Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer, for a new anthological take with new storylines and characters built around the real-time storytelling device.

Original star Kiefer Sutherland is busy with Designated Survivor which was renewed for a second season.

      1. One ep was it for me-I think the general format has run out of steam as it’s a difficult structure to use to make an ongoing series.
