Comedy takes top spot, Seven wins week.

Ratings: True Story is off to a buoyant start, but Seven had 15 straight wins.

Comedy took top honours last week over Reality & News as True Story with Hamish & Andy pulling 1,282,000 viewers. It ranks as the top scripted audience of the year.

But it wasn’t enough for Nine to snatch a week from Seven, which now has 15 straight wins in the ratings year. Just six more and it will leave Nine unable to topple it in weeks won.

Nine: True Story with Hamish & Andy (1.28m), Nine News (Sun: 1.27m), The Voice (1.02m) and A Current Affair (848,000).

TEN: MasterChef Australia (Tues: 928,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (764,000), The Project (7pm: 607,000) and NCIS (561,000).

ABC: ABC News (Sun: 784,000), Australian Story (774,000), Grantchester (695,000) and Father Brown (688,000).

SBS: Insight (371,000), Italy’s Invisible Cities (367,000), Great Continental Railway Journeys (344,000) and Tony Robinson’s Coast to Coast (263,000).

Seven snared Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine took Sydney and Brisbane.
