Stars from the Doctor Who / Torchwood universe reunited at Awesome Con, Washington DC’s version of Comic Con, on the weekend.
Lucky fans were able to pose with the stars, at a fee of course.
Tennant & Barrowman are also appearing in Chicago and Ohio events with Alex Kingston (‘River Song’).
“We were really overwhelmed by your support and all the love in the building. We love you and a super huge thanks,” Barrowman said to fans.
Barrowman has been keen to revive Torchwood, but so far that has been confined to audio episodes.
Thank you to everyone in the Washington DC metro area and everybody who traveled to… https://t.co/t11w2sWu2W pic.twitter.com/hA5NpPjUUr

I hope John Barrowman succeeds with reviving Torchwood, a show which was not as encumbered by sixties icons as was Dr Who and allowed some adult concepts to be fully exploited, something which has now become increasingly trendy on TV especially on pay TV.
That said, Dr. Who has Bill who is openly-gay.
Just reminds me how great Doctor Who was with David Tennant at the helm.
