Speers Tonight: June 15

In a special edition of Speers Tonight on Thursday, Political Editor David Speers hears from Noel Pearson on the case for constitutional reform.

At a sacred site on Cape York, Pearson opens up as to why he’s determined to see the Constitution changed to include an “Indigenous voice”.

He goes into far more detail about the proposal and answers some of the criticism, including suggestions he verbally abused the Prime Minister.

David also explores where the Referendum Council is likely to go in its recommendations to the Parliament and talks to its co-chairs.
