  1. Sony have an excellent processor so it will be interesting to see if PS4 owners will try and take advantage of the Foxtel HD content offered, having said that the commercial games being played by Foxtel would still seem to have a way to go,as offering a quality streaming service comparable to Netflix would eventually make their set top box business uneconomic as subscribers opt out, especially the long term SD customers who may feel they have been snubbed enough with not getting a free HD set top box upgrade for being a loyal customer .

    1. I’m a PS4 owner and whilst it’s excellent for games, blu-rays and ok for streaming from my partner’s PC, I don’t like the interface at all for other media apps. We use AppleTV for all catch-up and streaming sevices. PS3 is still an excellent PVR via PlayTV though.

      1. Disagree. The Apple TV interface for Netflix is terrible. I have both and always watch via the PS4 because it’s much easier and quicker (less clicks) to navigate.

        1. Isn’t the lack of a keyboard or voice commands annoying having to choose individual letters when searching on PS4? I like being able to speak to AppleTV to tell it what I want to watch and have it come up instantly.
