There are 22 young women ranging in age from 23 to 34, vying for the affections of Matty J.

There are 22 young women vying for the affections of Matty J in TEN’s new season of The Bachelor Australia.

Ranging in age from 23 to 34, there are seven ladies from Victoria: in brand manager Florence, criminal lawyer Laura-Ann, architecture student Leah, model Lisa, medical receptionist Monica, wedding planner Sharlene and office administrator Simone; Body painter Alix, property manager Elizabeth, fitness trainer Elora, marketing manager Jennifer and accessories designer Laura are from NSW; from Queensland are gymnastics coach Akoulina, love coach Belinda, coal plant operator Cobie, gym instructor Stacey and nanny Tara; Police officer Michelle and midwife Natalie are from South Australia and representing the West are marketing executive Elise, retail assistant Sian and safety administrator Stephanie.

Host Osher Gunsberg saidm “At the moment I’m full of anticipation. I’m a little bit nervous, but I like to think of myself as being pretty positive and optimistic. Maybe it’s being too optimistic, but I really do think that I’m going to fall in love here.”

The 22 are:

Akoulina, 29, Gymnastics Coach, Queensland.

Alix, 24, Body Painter, NSW.
“I love to laugh and am a very caring person. I am always up for a spontaneous trip away and a solid banter session.”

Belinda, 34, Love Coach, Queensland.

Cobie, 30, Coal Plant Operator, Queensland.
“I’m just going to wing it. I know nothing about him and he knows nothing about me. This whole experience is designed so that we can get to know each other and see if we have a connection. I am just going to be myself and have fun.”

Elise, 29, Marketing Executive, Western Australia.

Elizabeth, 31, Property Manager, NSW.

Elora, 27, Fitness Trainer, NSW.
“I was born in Tahiti and have lived in France for three years and Hawaii for ve years.”

Florence, 27, Brand Manager, Victoria.

  1. You just know that the first few eps will be the best. Alcohol, dodgy behaviour and plenty of tantrums……when love starts to get in the way it becomes a bit boring…

    1. To true! Still i’ll watch the whole series as I don’t mind the ‘fluffy’ bits that follow, so long as the girls are interesting enough and they usually are.
