How much does running a show late affect the ratings? In some cases quite a bit.
Last week 60 Minutes pulled 786,000 in preliminary numbers following The Voice grand final, but it has been adjusted to 692,000 -a difference of nearly 100,000 viewers. Yet it must be noted The Voice: Winner Announced also rose in adjustments from 1.306m to 1.32m as the week’s top title -NB: adjustments and overruns are not exclusive to Nine, and are often associated with Live shows.
Seven won the week again underpinned by Seven News & House Rules.
Elsewhere, Tour de France boosted SBS, including a primary channel win over TEN on Saturday night.
