ABC is planning another series of Restoration Australia, which last aired in 2015.
A casting notice is searching for passionate homeowners who are about to embark on a personal restoration project.
Your project must be a residential home, for you or your family to live in. Your home must be of historical significance, heritage listed or have a heritage overlay, and you must be restoring the home with a style befitting of the original building. If your home is in great shape and you are renovating, then this probably isn’t for you.
The size and budget of the project doesn’t matter but passion and history does it notes.
Homeowners should be starting their restoration in 2017, with a finish date of 2018. Filming will start when you’re about to embark on your project and visit you at key stages through the project, until completion.
The show is produced by FremantleMedia Australia.

Good news, I didn’t expect to see this show return after it went unmentioned in the 2016 and 2017 upfronts. I’d say this won’t air until 2019 though unless they can get it done in time for very late 2018.
Yes late 2018 at best, probably 2019.
Thanks David. I do like Aussie restoration shows. I also enjoyed Who’s been sleeping in my house. Look forward to this in 2018 (hopefully).
