Updated: Nine raises 1.083m for children’s cancer charity.

Nine stars joined with leading AFL faces for The Footy Show‘s annual My Room telethon last night to raise funds for children’s cancer charity research.

Manning the phones were such names as Shane Warne, Andy Lee, Kat Stewart, Vince Colosimo, Patti Newton, Sam Wood, Ryan Corr, Pete Smith, Debra Byrne, Kevin Harrington, Peter Hitchener, Livinia Nixon, Tony Jones, Brett McLeod, Catriona Rowntree, Adam Ladell, Tim Campbell, Jo Hall, Shareena Clanton, Clint Stanaway, Dan Hamill, Alicia Loxley, Damian Walshe-Howling, Gamble Breaux, Janet Roach and The Block contestants.

Updated: Nine raised $1.083m topping last year’s effort of $1 million.
